Central Artery Ramp XE over Amtrak, I-90: Erection Procedure developed for congested downtown Boston ramp with limited crane positioning and complicated work restrictions due to the Amtrak schedule. Included a 3D analysis to determine specific erection loads sustained at all of the bolted field splices.    




MassDOT Bridge Avenue A over the Connecticut River: Using 3-D structural analysis of the truss bridge to determine member forces during the stages of construction, GEA was hired by contractor to perform construction engineering for major rehabilitation of a 1750 foot long six-span truss bridge.   


MassDOT Route 1 over High & Harris Streets: After significant delays from the design engineer and dissatisfaction from the Department, the contractor turned to Gill Engineering to complete the Post Tension Beam Analysis. Using the latest sophisticated software available for the analysis of this type of structure, GEA performed a complete structural analysis of the superstructure and prepared shop drawings for the post-tensioned girders.
